Happy Halloween

Our daughter dressed up like Sarah Palin this year. What do you think? I think she might be a little bit prettier, ok so I'm bias its my right.

We hope everyone has a great and safe Halloween. I look forward to posting and seeing everyones little goblins next week.

I've been tagged by Leslie and Regina. I've been trying to think of ramdon and/or weird things about myself. Its hard to think of things about yourself but here goes.
1) I can not stand to walk on smooth concrete barefooted, or touch frosted glass.

2) I dont eat or chicken or eggs. I will cook chicken for my family but would rather not cook eggs. Everyone in our family likes them but me. I can't hardly even wash dishes that they have been on. If I fix them for breakfast the plates and forks have to be washed seperate and with bleach water.

3) I always make my bed before I get in it at night. I should make it in the morning but I hardly have time to get ready let alone make a bed.

4) I dont like to stay away from home. A couple of days and I'm ready to come home. When we do go I take all my bed clothes and only take off my shoes to go to bed.

5) I dont like to be alone and require very little me time. I work about 2 miles from home and thats about all the time alone I need.

6) I hate to read, and my poor son hates it too. I wish I did and maybe he would like to read more.

7) I love, love, love to shop, for anyone other than myself. This one is probably the weirdest of all. If I could pay someone to shop for me I would.

I'm sure I could come up with a few more but these are all that comes to mind. I hope I didn't bore anyone to bad.

Halloween Party

We were invited to Miss Lilee's halloween party Saturday night. The weather was perfect and so was the company. The take home goody bags where full of all kinds of goodies. Thanks Amanda and Chuck for inviting us, we had a great time.

Thankful Thursday

I'm so thankful this morning to pass along that McKenzie tests came back ok. Thanks for all the prayers and comments. I have been so blessed with the greatest blogging friends there are.

Bernheim Forest

We went to Bernheim Forest over the weekend and had the best time. These wonderful pictures where taken with Leslie's oops, I mean Larry's camera. I just love this time of year and hanging out with our friends. Thanks guys for a fun day.

My Cinderella

Friday night me and Adalyn aka Cinderella went trick or treating with a friend of mine and her daughter. She was so excited to be able to finally wear her costume. I think she is the cutest Cinderella, dont you?

A Adalyn cute moment, the other night she saw dolphins on tv and was so excited because she remembered seeing "golfins in Florida when we where on vacation. No matter how I tried to correct her she insisted they where golfins, too cute.

Christmas is Saved

When I got to work this morning there was an email from Target telling me I could order the Bath Blizzard. The order has been sent and I can breathe a sign of relief. Its funny I was just in Target yesterday and inquired about it and they looked at me as if I had two heads. Needless to say they didnt have any. I should have it by Wednesday. I'll keep you posted, thanks for keeping and eye out for me.

Thankful Thursday

My very good friend Amanda sent me these pictures of the kids at our Moon Festival. I hadn't seen Daltons balloon so this was a great suprise. He is such a sweet, loving child. Thanks Amanda, this makes my Thursday a very thankful one.

Bath Blizzard

From what I can tell this attatches to your faucet and makes oodles of bubbles. I think it comes with a bottle of bubbles. It really looks neat and I think all kids would like it but should it be that hard to find? Oh well I must say its fun looking for it but ask me closer to Christmas and I'll let you know if I still feel the same way.

This seems to happen every year and I really thought this year I was in the clear. My kids always seem to ask for something for Christmas that is hard to find. One year it was a certain lego, WII, soccer lego the list goes on. Well Adalyn seen this on tv and asks for it everyday. I thought no big deal, I'll just order her one, wrong. I have been to the actual site and got on a list from Target so when they have one available they'll notify me. But that isn't good enough. I need to know for sure I can get my hands on one of these for her. If anyone sees one in the stores please let me know. Who knows, there might even be a finders fee. :o)

Thanks A Million

My bff Leslie got me one of these magnets and I cant wait to proudly display it on my car. This family is selling them to raise money for their adoption. What a great way to raise money. They are really cute and I couldn't think of a better way to support something as wonderful as adoption. Thanks again Leslie, you rock.

PRAYERS NEEDED

I just talked with our daughter, they took some more blood. We wont know anything for at least a week. Mckenzie is doing ok but everyone is very anxious to find out whats going on. Thanks to everyone for the prayers. We have faith and know that GOD will see us through this. I'll post when we get the results.
Our granddaughter is having some test done today. They thought at first she was iron deficient but now are not sure. Please keep our family in your prayers that they will find out what is going on with her. I know GOD can move mountains and does answer prayers.

Buzy Weekend

We had a busy weekend. Friday night me and Leslie took the kids to our church to let the kids play on our new play ground.

Saturday my mom kept the kids while we went to Louisville, thanks mom. We met Larry and Leslie for some shopping and dinner. It was our first time meeting them for dinner without any kids. I have to admit I did miss them. It just seems wierd not having them with us. It was nice though to just hang out with them and chat.

Sunday we went to Joe Hubers for our anniversary. We have been married 17 years today and I have loved every minute of it. We have had our ups and downs but mostly ups, it helps being married to your best friend. I cant imagine my life without him. We had a great day and as we where walking to the car Adalyn said "mommy its time for a n a p, yes she spelled out nap. How funny is that! I guess they pay more attention to things we say than we think.

Student of the Week

My little man got student of the week and I couldn't be prouder. I hear nothing but good things about him and its nice for him to be reconized at his school. He is such a loving, giving and nurturing young man I can't wait to see what life has instore for him.
