Me and my verrrrrrry good friend Leslie (she is not a outdoors kinda girl) endured what seemed like forever in the hot sun Saturday so our kids could partipate in a duck race. All the kids where hot, hungry and needing naps by the time we left. Not to mention, they didn't win. Oh well lets just hope they raised a lot of money so it wasn't a total loss.
I asked Dalton the same questions as Adalyn from when she got tagged. Here are his answers.
Adalyn's bff Lily tagged her and this was her answers.I'm not sure why all the horses but my dad will be proud. This was so much fun for me and Adalyn, thanks Lily for tagging us.

I may have found the most talented cake make around. She is from Indiana, I'll pass along her number if anyone is interested. My niece is having her first birthday party tomorrow and I wanted to get the cake for her. This great baker made our cakes for our Moon festival back in the fall and I had also seen a cake of hers on one of my friends blogs. I knew she did a great job but my mom had not seen any of her work so she was blown away when she saw it. We will definitely be giving her a call in the future.

This is Adalyn's new top from my blogger friend Lynn @ Somewhere in the Sun. Thanks so much Lynn you did an awesome job. I'm not the best picture taker so these pictures dont do it justice. It is made from really good material and very well made. I think it is going to be one of our favorites. A couple other friends are getting the same shirt so I post those pictures later.

We had a great time in Florida if we did only stay 4 nights. Adalyn saw Sponge Bob, oh my gosh, she was so excited she was laughing and crying. We ate breakfast with the yellow guy and it was money well spent. She was so excited she couldnt even eat. When we left the guy at the desk ask where we where from and when I told him we drove 16 hours to see Sponge Bob he looked at me like I was crazy. I told Doug I should have told him he might have kids one day.

I'm thankful to live in this wonderful country. After traveling outside the U S, it really makes you appreciate the things we have and not take everyday life for granted. I could not imagine living anywhere else. This truly is the land of the free and I'm glad to call this home. I hope everyone has a safe and happy 4th.
Adalyn asked for a pink bike for her birthday. I never thought she would learn to ride quite so soon. She just hops on and away she goes, we dont even have side walks. Heck I don't think Dalton even thought about riding a bike until he was in school. She seems to big at times, I'm glad I have a camera and video close by to capture some of the fun.
