Gap's Next Top Model

A big thanks to my blog guardian angel, Leslie. I have been so busy lately and she has been so good to us ie. taking pictures of my kids, bringing us dinner and hanging out with Adalyn & Dalton so I can get some much needed work done. Thanks a million, I'd be lost without you!

Our Wonderful View

These pictures where taken with Leslie's wonderful camera. This is the view from our Little Piece of Heaven when the sun is setting. It's easy to see why we are so anxious to get moved out there. Its such a quite and peaceful little place to be and reminds me of when I lived at home on my parents farm.

First Day of School

Adalyn was so excited when we picked her up. She really likes school and keeps asking when she is going back.

They are learning the color red this week and suppose to wear something red. Miss Adalyn doesn't have anything so I guess I'll have to go shopping, I'm really loving preschool. :o)

Let Us Never Forget

First Day of School

Adalyn started out on a slow note but that changed soon after she got up. She was so excited to go to school. She told me after I drop her bubby off at school I could take her to her school and take lots of pictures and put them on my blog. So, at her request here is a few pictures from this morning.

There was no tears from me or her but her daddy sat in the car so I'm not sure about him. I cant believe how fast this all happens. I know with all my heart she is in the best preschool and the teachers truly love what they do. I was ask from a parent if I requested a teacher which I didnt and was told Adalyn's teacher was the best. So God already took care of that for me.

She thanked her dad so many times last night for getting her school supplies it was so sweet. What 3 year old is so thankful? I just loved writing her name on all those crayons, I hope when she learns to write her name she enjoys it as much as I do.

My aunt told her to take her teacher an apple and she would have a good year. So my mom made sure she had a nice big red one to take. She walk right in and handed her teacher her apple and told me by bye, so big already.

Doug got these for me years ago and I found the perfect spot for them at our little piece of heaven and Adalyn cant seem to stay out of them. I think she was more excited than me to get them up and running. I have created a little photo bug. Every time she does something that I make a comment about she says get the camera mommy. I just love the picture of her little tootsie's, she has the cutest feet I think I ever saw and I'm not a bit bias.

Today Leslie and Larry invited Adalyn to go with them to Ella's soccer game. From the looks of the pictures everyone had a ball. Thanks guys for asking her to tag along.

A Fun Labor Day

We spent a very HOT and fun day yesterday with some of our friends. We met up for breakfast at Mimi's cafe and then headed over to Southeast Christian Church for a family palooza event the church was putting on. The kids had a great time and so did the parents. We are so blessed to have such wonderful friends.
