I Promise




I promise to love this amazing child that God has chosen to be my daughter for as long as I live.

We finalized our adoption on Wednesday. I have thought about how I would put all this into words, I don't know that there are words that would do it justice, so I'm going to keep it simple. Doug and I promised in front of God, the judge and our family and friends to be the best parents we can be to this amazing child. We finally closed one chapter in our journey and opened a new, Amen.

Here are some pictures that Leslie took to capture some of the excitement from our big day. Thanks to everyone who shared in our joy, we are blessed beyond measure.
